Ever since it was announced that Makkal Selvan was a part of Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Master’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the buzz has been that he will be playing a menacing villain in the film. The expectations have been high to see him yet again in a villain role after his stunning performance in ‘Vikram Vedha’. Throughout the making of the film and even during the audio launch, Vijay Sethupathi has not revealed much about his character and has even been calling the film a dual hero film.
For the first time now, in a live interaction talking about his role in ‘Master’, Vijay Sethupathi has revealed that that are no grey shades in his character what so ever and that his character is completely evil in nature.
Produced by Xavier Britto under the banner XB Film Creators, the film features Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohan in the lead roles, while Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Sriman, Srinath, Sanjeev Gouri Kishan, Brigida, and VJ Ramya are playing supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander scores the music for the film and cinematography is handled by Sathyan Sooryan.
The much-awaited film was supposed to release in April but was postponed due to the lockdown because of COVID-19. With this new revelation, the excitement and anticipation of the fans has skyrocketed to another level.
